Who this is for

Whether you're a participant, a family member or a support coordinator arranging care, here's who these sessions are designed for.

Participants & families

You want practical nutrition support that fits your life — not another appointment that leaves you with a handout and no plan. Sessions are paced to suit you, with plain-English explanations and no assumptions.

Support coordinators

You're looking for a dietitian with availability who can start quickly, work Australia-wide via telehealth, and communicate clearly with the rest of the participant's team.

Plan managers

Straightforward invoicing, clear service descriptions and NDIS-aligned notes. Self-managed and plan-managed participants are both welcome.

What NDIS dietetic support can cover

Mealtime management

Support around safe, enjoyable and sustainable mealtimes at home — including routines, food preparation and reducing mealtime stress for the whole household.

Texture-modified diets

Guidance on texture-modified meals and fluids where these have been recommended, working alongside your speech pathologist and treating team.

Weight & metabolic health

Nutrition support for weight change in either direction, plus blood sugar, cholesterol and other metabolic markers, delivered without judgement.

ADHD, autism & sensory eating

Neurodiversity-affirming support for restricted diets, sensory food aversions, interoception and eating routines — building on what already works for you.

Gut & bowel health

Practical strategies for constipation, reflux, bloating and irregular bowel habits, including fibre, fluid and routine changes that are realistic day to day.

Independence with food

Building capacity around shopping, budgeting, meal planning and cooking skills — so food becomes easier to manage over time, with less support.

Reports for plan reviews

Written summaries and recommendations you can take to a plan review to evidence progress and the ongoing need for dietetic support.

Working with your team

Consultation summaries shared with your GP, speech pathologist, occupational therapist or support coordinator so everyone is working from the same plan.

How NDIS funding works here

In plain English: if dietetics relates to your disability, supports your goals and is included in your plan, your funding can usually be used for these sessions.

Self-managed

You're invoiced directly after each session and claim it back through the myplace participant portal. Nothing else to arrange.

Plan-managed

Share your plan manager's details when you book and invoices go straight to them. You don't pay anything up front.

Which budget

Dietetics usually sits under Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living, and in some plans under Core Supports. Agency-managed (NDIA-managed) funding can't be used.

Hi, I'm Lauren — and I know that arranging supports can take more energy than the support itself. Booking with me is deliberately simple.

I'm a Masters-qualified Accredited Practising Dietitian who supports NDIS participants and their families with everyday nutrition — mealtimes, sensory eating, gut health, weight and metabolic health. I listen first, work at your pace, and build a plan around what's already working rather than starting from scratch.

Sessions can include a family member, carer or support worker, and I'm happy to liaise with the rest of your team.
